2015-06-09[media] dvb: Get rid of typedev usage for enumsMauro Carvalho Chehab
The DVB API was originally defined using typedefs. This is against Kernel CodingStyle, and there's no good usage here. While we can't remove its usage on userspace, we can avoid its usage in Kernelspace. So, let's do it. This patch was generated by this shell script: for j in $(grep typedef include/uapi/linux/dvb/frontend.h |cut -d' ' -f 3); do for i in $(find drivers/media -name '*.[ch]' -type f) $(find drivers/staging/media -name '*.[ch]' -type f); do sed "s,${j}_t,enum $j," <$i >a && mv a $i; done; done While here, make CodingStyle fixes on the affected lines. 2014-11-05[media] cx24110: Simplify error handling at cx24110_set_fec()Mauro Carvalho Chehab
move the return to happen before the logic. This way, we can avoid one extra identation. This also fixes an identation issue on this function. Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@osg.samsung.com>
2014-11-05[media] cx23110: Fix return code for cx24110_set_fec()Mauro Carvalho Chehab
When a parameter is invalid, the right return code is -EINVAL. Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@osg.samsung.com>
2014-11-05[media] cx24110: Fix whitespaces at cx24110_set_fec()Mauro Carvalho Chehab
It is hard to read what's there, because it doesn't follow the CodingStyle. Add missing whitespaces to split function arguments. No functional changes. Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@osg.samsung.com>
2014-11-05[media] cx24110: Fix a spatch warningMauro Carvalho Chehab
This is actually a false positive: drivers/media/dvb-frontends/cx24110.c:210 cx24110_set_fec() error: buffer overflow 'rate' 7 <= 8 But fixing it is easy: just ensure that the table size will be limited to FEC_AUTO. While here, fix spacing on the affected lines. Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@osg.samsung.com>

A simplified version of the semantic patch that finds this problem is as follows: (http://coccinelle.lip6.fr/) // <smpl> @r1@ statement S; position p,p1; @@ S@p1;@p @script:python r2@ p << r1.p; p1 << r1.p1; @@ if p[0].line != p1[0].line_end: cocci.include_match(False) @@ position r1.p; @@ -;@p // </smpl> [mchehab@redhat.com: some hunks got bitroted; applied only the ones that succeeds] Signed-off-by: Peter Senna Tschudin <peter.senna@gmail.com> [crope@iki.fi: For my drivers a8293, af9013, af9015, af9035] Acked-by: Antti Palosaari <crope@iki.fi> Reviewed-by: Antti Palosaari <crope@iki.fi> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
