On new platforms, endpoint clock gating is added for dbm endpoints
with Synopsys USB3.0 controller. This hardware feature requires
initialization of DBM endpoint before BAM pipe reset for bam2bam mode
data transfers working. Hence change sequence such that do DBM endpoint
initialization first followed by BAM pipe reset and do start transfer
as last operation.

This is an ancient bug that was actually attempted to be fixed once
(badly) by me eleven years ago in commit 4ceb5db9757a ("Fix
get_user_pages() race for write access") but that was then undone due to
problems on s390 by commit f33ea7f404e5 ("fix get_user_pages bug").
In the meantime, the s390 situation has long been fixed, and we can now
fix it by checking the pte_dirty() bit properly (and do it better). The
s390 dirty bit was implemented in abf09bed3cce ("s390/mm: implement
software dirty bits") which made it into v3.9. Earlier kernels will
have to look at the page state itself.
Also, the VM has become more scalable, and what used a purely
theoretical race back then has become easier to trigger.
To fix it, we introduce a new internal FOLL_COW flag to mark the "yes,
we already did a COW" rather than play racy games with FOLL_WRITE that
is very fundamental, and then use the pte dirty flag to validate that
the FOLL_COW flag is still valid.

HLOS can place a mitigation frequency via the LMH DCVSh hardware using
the software cap register and this request doesn't trigger a debug
interrupt. Thus, this frequency mitigation change will not result in
scheduler being notified by LMH DCVSh driver.
Introduce a new API in LMH DCVSh driver, that can be used by other
drivers to trigger the scheduler notification. This API and the
interrupt handler follows the same code path to poll and notify the
scheduler.

Some dedicated power rails do not require a max voltage vote during bootup.
Allow clock drivers to skip handoff for the corresponding VDD classes.
Multiple vdd_class structures might share same set of regulators. If the
FMAXes for these different vdd_class structures do not have the same level
vote, there could be a conflict when setting voltage on the regulator.
Add a flag use_max_uV to vote for INT_MAX as max_uV when calling
regulator_set_voltage(). Constraints in the regulator driver make sure that
the final voltage meets the requirement of that regulator's operational
range.

At present, sched_set_group_id() dynamically allocates structure for
colocation group to assign the given task to the group. However
this can cause deadlock as memory allocator can wakeup a task which
also tries to acquire related_thread_group_lock.
Avoid such deadlock by pre-allocating colocation structures. This
limits maximum colocation groups to static number but it's fine as it's
never expected to be a lot.

This call matches clocks which have been marked as critical in DT
and sets the appropriate flag. These flags can then be used to
mark the clock core flags appropriately prior to registration.
Legacy bindings requiring this feature must add the clock-critical
property to their binding descriptions, as it is not a part of
common-clock binding.

Critical clocks are those which must not be gated, else undefined
or catastrophic failure would occur. Here we have chosen to
ensure the prepare/enable counts are correctly incremented, so as
not to confuse users with enabled clocks with no visible users.

The recent introduction of the schedtune cgroup controller has provided
the scheduler with added flexibility in terms of some of it's placement
features. In particular each cgroup under the schedtune controller can
now specify:
1) Whether it needs co-location along with other cgroups
2) Whether it is eligible for scheduler boost (sched_boost_enabled)
3) Whether the kernel can override the boost eligibility when necessary
(sched_boost_no_override)
The scheduler now creates a reserved co-location group at boot. This
group is used to co-locate all tasks that form part of any one of the
cgroups that have co-location enabled. This reserved group can neither
be destroyed nor reused for other purposes. Furthermore, cgroups are
only allowed to indicate their co-location preference once at boot.
Further updates are disallowed.
Since we are now creating co-location groups for an extended period of
time, there are a few other factors to consider when determining the
preferred cluster for the group. We first exclude any tasks in the
group that have not been observed to be running for a significant
amount of time. Secondly we introduce the notion of group up and down
migrate tunables to allow different migration policies than individual
tasks. Lastly we break co-location if a single task in a group exceeds
up-migrate but the total load of the group does not exceed group
up-migrate.
In terms of sched_boost, the scheduler now supports multiple types of
boost. These are:
1) FULL_THROTTLE : Force up-migrate tasks belonging any cgroup that
has the sched_boost_enabled flag turned on. Little
CPUs will only be used when big CPUs can no longer
accommodate tasks. Also up-migrate all RT tasks.
2) CONSERVATIVE : Override the sched_boost_enabled flag for all cgroups
except those that have the sched_boost_no_override
flag set. Force up-migrate all tasks belonging to only
those cgroups that still remain eligible for boost.
RT tasks do not get force up migrated.
3) RESTRAINED : Start frequency aggregation for co-located tasks. This
type of boost does not force up-migrate any task.
Finally the boost API removes ref-counting. This means that there can
only be a single entity using boost at any given time. If multiple
entities are managing boost, they are required to be well behaved so
that they don't interfere with one another. Even for a single client,
it is not possible to switch directly from one boost type to another.
Boost must be first turned off before switching over to a new type.

This allows xHC to remain in low power mode and not
resume the bus when system wide resume happens.
Controller comes out of low power mode only when usb
device issues a remote wakeup or if there is a host
initiated bus resume.

Update clock debugfs to support the below functionalities.
- Allow enable/disable a clock.
- Allow set_rate on a clock.
- Display the list of enabled_clocks along with prepare_count,
enable_count and rate.
- Display the register contents of all the clocks which support
this clock operation.

Sockets can have a filter program attached that drops or trims
incoming packets based on the filter program return value.
Rose requires data packets to have at least ROSE_MIN_LEN bytes. It
verifies this on arrival in rose_route_frame and unconditionally pulls
the bytes in rose_recvmsg. The filter can trim packets to below this
value in-between, causing pull to fail, leaving the partial header at
the time of skb_copy_datagram_msg.
Place a lower bound on the size to which sk_filter may trim packets
by introducing sk_filter_trim_cap and call this for rose packets.

For performance reasons there are clients who would like to move
from stage 1 bypass to stage 1 enabled without having to stop their
device.
Currently clients need to stop their device because they have to
create the required stage 1 mappings before re-enabling the device.
Add the new DOMAIN_ATTR_EARLY_MAP domain attribute to allow clients
to create stage 1 mappings after attaching but before enabling
stage 1 translations.
If the clients set the DOMAIN_ATTR_EARLY_MAP domain attribute to 1
before attaching then then once they attach the SMMU driver won't
enable stage 1 translations. This gives the client the opportunity to
create the required early mappings (for example using iommu_map).
When the client has finished creating the necessary early mappings
the client can then set the DOMAIN_ATTR_EARLY_MAP domain attribute
to 0, this will in turn enable stage 1 translations.

There is a race between watchdog being enabled by hotplug and core
isolation disabling the watchdog. When a CPU is hotplugged in and
the hotplug lock has been released the watchdog thread might not
have run yet to enable the watchdog. We have to wait for the
watchdog to be enabled before proceeding.

The scheduler allocates memory for the task load structures during
fork. It then relies to sched_exit() to be called to free that memory.
However, if the fork itself fails at any point after the allocation,
the memory is left unclaimed forever. Fix this memory leak by freeing
the allocated memory under error conditions.

Add vdd_class support which would help vote/unvote for any voltage rail
for the clock frequency to the regulator framework. A clock client request
for a clock frequency would look for the corresponding voltage vote and
would be send the request to regulator framework.

Only call an SVID handler's disconnect function only if it was
previously connected, i.e. when the state machine had proceeded
received a successful DISCOVER_SVIDs response. This helps to
avoid excessive notification to SVID clients.
While at it, require that .connect and .disconnect callbacks
are supplied during registration. This helps to eliminate NULL
checks each time they are called.

This is a wrap-up of three patches pending upstream approval.
I'm bundling them because they are interdependent, and it'll be
easier to drop it on rebase later.
1. dm: allow a dm-fs-style device to be shared via dm-ioctl
Integrates feedback from Alisdair, Mike, and Kiyoshi.
Two main changes occur here:
- One function is added which allows for a programmatically created
mapped device to be inserted into the dm-ioctl hash table. This binds
the device to a name and, optional, uuid which is needed by udev and
allows for userspace management of the mapped device.
- dm_table_complete() was extended to handle all of the final
functional changes required for the table to be operational once
called.
2. init: boot to device-mapper targets without an initr*
Add a dm= kernel parameter modeled after the md= parameter from
do_mounts_md. It allows for device-mapper targets to be configured at
boot time for use early in the boot process (as the root device or
otherwise). It also replaces /dev/XXX calls with major:minor opportunistically.
The format is dm="name uuid ro,table line 1,table line 2,...". The
parser expects the comma to be safe to use as a newline substitute but,
otherwise, uses the normal separator of space. Some attempt has been
made to make it forgiving of additional spaces (using skip_spaces()).
A mapped device created during boot will be assigned a minor of 0 and
may be access via /dev/dm-0.
An example dm-linear root with no uuid may look like:
root=/dev/dm-0 dm="lroot none ro, 0 4096 linear /dev/ubdb 0, 4096 4096 linear /dv/ubdc 0"
Once udev is started, /dev/dm-0 will become /dev/mapper/lroot.
