Minidump is concise and bare minimum dump to enable technology
teams to debug most of subsystem issues. This change adds required
driver code changes to provide support of subsystem minidump.
Increase PIL timeout to give MBA more time for encryption
and decryption for modem segments.

This change enables a new LP property to specify panel specific
low power modes. This is needed to differentiate between normal
panel "on" and "on but low power" scenarios, something that
is not available through the standard DRM DPMS property.
The sde connector calculates a consolidated "power mode" setting
between the DPMS and LP properties and provides a callback to
the underlying display driver(s) whenever one of them is updated.

Currently ion fd is used to extract ion handle to free ion client.
ION FD is not valid if user-space application is crashed so ion handle
is returned to the client during msm_audio_ion_phys_assign() API which
is used to destroy ion client in msm_audio_ion_phys_free() API.

F2FS uses 4 bytes to represent block address. As a result, supported
size of disk is 16 TB and it equals to 16 * 1024 * 1024 / 2 segments.

Modularize the wcnss power up sequence like wcnss voltage
regulator enable/disable sequence and voltage regulator
current and voltage level parsing method. Remove hack code
from the power wcnss power process and enable/disable
the power resource if it's defined in the wcnss device node.
Update the debug logs to track the exact state of the power
state during device bootup. Remove the unnecessary logging
for the optional resource request fails during device bootup.

Some PMICs software drivers (PM660) require the TP revision
information to implement specific logic. Add an optional
property qcom,tp-rev-valid to check if support for TP REV is
available in the REVID peripheral for the PMIC.

If device is created by of_platform_populate and removed by
of_platform_depopulate from parent device driver, platform_data
will be released twice and lead to kernel panic.
of_platform_depopulate will free platform_data of each device driver.
Usually we use devm_kzalloc to malloc for platform_data so it can be
released during driver unregister. So if device is removed by
of_platform_depopulate and platform_data is malloced by devm_kzalloc,
platform_data will be freed twice. To fix it, move this data into
struct usb_bam_ctx_type and then store usb_bam_ctx_type into device
driver data. In this way, it can be get in remove function.
The member regs of usb_bam_ctx_type is not necessary. It is only
used for ioremap which already has been done by virt_addr of
struct sps_bam_props.
Without sps_deregister_bam_device, bam child device will not be
created again during defer probe. So deregister in remove function.

SDP_CURRENT_MAX is used to communicate the maximum current negotiated by
the USB phy. PD_VOLTAGE_MAX is used to communicate the maximum voltage
negotiated by the PD phy. PD_VOLTAGE_MIN is used to communicate the
minimum voltage negotiated by the PD phy.

Defer the softirq processing to ksoftirqd if a RT task is running
or queued on the current CPU. This complements the RT task placement
algorithm which tries to find a CPU that is not currently busy with
softirqs.
Currently NET_TX, NET_RX, BLOCK and TASKLET softirqs are only deferred
as they can potentially run for long time.

A lot of seqfile users seem to be using things like %pK that uses the
credentials of the current process, but that is actually completely
wrong for filesystem interfaces.
The unix semantics for permission checking files is to check permissions
at _open_ time, not at read or write time, and that is not just a small
detail: passing off stdin/stdout/stderr to a suid application and making
the actual IO happen in privileged context is a classic exploit
technique.
So if we want to be able to look at permissions at read time, we need to
use the file open credentials, not the current ones. Normal file
accesses can just use "f_cred" (or any of the helper functions that do
that, like file_ns_capable()), but the seqfile interfaces do not have
any such options.
It turns out that seq_file _does_ save away the user_ns information of
the file, though. Since user_ns is just part of the full credential
information, replace that special case with saving off the cred pointer
instead, and suddenly seq_file has all the permission information it
needs.

take_dentry_name_snapshot() takes a safe snapshot of dentry name;
if the name is a short one, it gets copied into caller-supplied
structure, otherwise an extra reference to external name is grabbed
(those are never modified). In either case the pointer to stable
string is stored into the same structure.
dentry must be held by the caller of take_dentry_name_snapshot(),
but may be freely dropped afterwards - the snapshot will stay
until destroyed by release_dentry_name_snapshot().
Intended use:
struct name_snapshot s;
take_dentry_name_snapshot(&s, dentry);
...
access s.name
...
release_dentry_name_snapshot(&s);
Replaces fsnotify_oldname_...(), gets used in fsnotify to obtain the name
to pass down with event.

The Generic PHY driver is a catch-all PHY driver and it should preserve
whatever prior initialization has been done by boot loader or firmware
agents. For specific PHY device configuration it is expected that a
specialized PHY driver would take over that role.
Resetting the generic PHY was a bad idea that has lead to several
complaints and downstream workarounds e.g: in OpenWrt/LEDE so restore
the behavior prior to 87aa9f9c61ad ("net: phy: consolidate PHY
reset in phy_init_hw()").

Currently pstore has a global spinlock for all zones. Since the zones
are independent and modify different areas of memory, there's no need
to have a global lock, so we should use a per-zone lock as introduced
here. Also, when ramoops's ftrace use-case has a FTRACE_PER_CPU flag
introduced later, which splits the ftrace memory area into a single zone
per CPU, it will eliminate the need for locking. In preparation for this,
make the locking optional.
